Portmarnock Golf Club, opened in 1995, is currently ranked 16th in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Ireland.

This links golf course was designed by German Professional Golfer and two times Masters Champion, Bernhard Langer.

Langer is an acclaimed figure in the golfing world, who has won the Irish Open three times and became the first official number one ranked player in 1986.

American architect Stan Eby aided Langer in his career change, helping him design a course that has challenged golfers of all ability at both amateur and professional level.

The challenging topography, stunning scenery and upscale hotel amenities are what attracts visitors to the club.

There are 98 strategically placed bunkers, deep pot bunkers throughout, complemented by gentle, luxurious fairways leading onto vast rolling greens.
