The Heritage Golf Resort (1) 2021

This tournament on Seve’s only Irish designed championship course is always a sell-out and this year, the Heritage will be hosting not one but two Golf Digest Tournaments, so book your tee time early and enjoy the wonderful test ahead.

Venue: The Heritage Golf Resort, Killinard, Co. Laois

Date: Friday 9 July 2021

Entry: €65 Visitors, Heritage Members €40

The categories include handicap 0-12, 13-24 and ladies 0-36. There are THREE prizes in each category and if you win, it's YOUR CHOICE: 1st (Bushnell V5 Laser or TaylorMade SIM2 Driver), 2nd (Bushnell GPS Wingman or TaylorMade Spider X Putter) and 3rd (Bushnell GPS Watch or TaylorMade Stand Bag).

All golfers, including those without an official handicap, can win prizes on all FOUR Par 3 Nearest the Pin competitions and on the TWO Longest Drives competitions.

All Category winners on the day go through to the Golf Digest Open Grand Final at the Heritage Golf Resort and the winner will be crowned the Golf Digest Open Champion Golfer 2021.

Due to COVID-19 there will be no goodie bags or prize giving. All prizes will be posted out to the winners following the tournament.

There will be FREE drinks at the reception, the 9th Hole and the first tee, courtesy of our sponsor Britvic Ireland.

As usual, there is also a FREE delicious burger after nine holes...yum.

Opened back in 2004 and co-designed by Jeff Howes, the Ballesteros course measures 7,319 yards from the championship tees and has played host to some of the world's top golfers, including many multiple major winners.

Five prominent lakes and a stream meander through the course, bringing water into play on 10 holes. The course is well known for its remarkable 96 beautifully-shaped bunkers as well as its 7,000 trees that adorn the Co. Laois landscape.

It’s one of the best golf tournaments on the Golf Digest schedule so it is wise to book your place while you still can.
