Despite the low scores at the Hero World Challenge, Albany has proven to be surprisingly frisky over the first 36 holes. That's bound to happen if the wind picks up even slightly in the Bahamas , especially with lightning-quick greens.
Rory McIlroy found this out the hard way on Friday, when on the 14th hole the Northern Irishman hit a putt so bad that even the Rory McIlroy Tracker Twitter account went ahead and declared it the worst putt of his career. When your own tracker account isn't finding a way to simp for you, you know you've messed up.
Here's the putt, which is not safe for public consumption and should be scrubbed from the internet entirely:

It's an overused expression, but that was quite literally like watching a car crash. At first the putt doesn't even look that bad, then you're begging for it to slam on the brakes, then it's a 12-car pileup as it rolls off the green. That camera angle did Rors dirty.

McIlroy went on to make double on the hole, but still managed to shoot a one-under 71. He sits just four off the lead of Bryson DeChambeau.
