With tie-dye popular in fashion, golf has been waiting for its moment to try out the trend. When the initial announcement that the 2020 PGA Championship would be played at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, golf brands saw an opportunity.

Pulling inspiration from the iconic Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood in San Francisco that was the epicenter of 1960s counterculture and where tie-dye was the unofficial uniform of its free-spirited residents, Puma launched a full golf-appropriate tie-dye collection last week. If you're anticipating oversize rainbow t-shirts, think again. Patterns primarily stay in a single colour family with hints of white.

The line includes a sweatshirt, hats, golf shoes and golf shirts for both adults and junior golfers.
